Terms of use
The terms on which Coast Trade Bookkeeping provides this website and responds to enquiries.
Last updated
These terms apply to your use of this website. They are not an engagement for bookkeeping services — if you become a client, the written engagement letter you sign with us sets out the scope, fees and obligations of that work, and it prevails over anything on this page.
About us
This website is operated by Coast Trade Bookkeeping (ABN 75 494 248 089), serving Sunshine Coast.Cert IV Accounting & Bookkeeping. You can verify our registration on theTPB public register.
Information on this site is general
The pages, guides and answers published here are general information about bookkeeping, GST, BAS and payroll. They do not take account of your particular circumstances and are not tax, financial or legal advice. Do not act on them without getting advice specific to your situation — from us or from another qualified adviser.
We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but tax rules, thresholds and rates change. Where a figure matters to a decision you are making, confirm it against theATO or ask us directly.
Pricing
Package prices shown on this site are indicative starting points for the scope described. Your actual fee depends on transaction volume, the state of your existing records, payroll headcount and the services you take up. We confirm the fee in writing before any work begins, and no charge arises from using this website or making an enquiry.
Enquiries
Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship, and does not oblige either of us to proceed. A relationship begins only when we have both agreed the scope in writing. Please do not send sensitive financial records through the enquiry form — we will tell you how to share documents securely once we are engaged.
Your use of the site
You may read, print and share this site's content for your own business purposes. You may not republish it as your own, scrape it at a volume that degrades the service for others, or use it to send unsolicited marketing to us.
The site's text, images, branding and layout remain our property or that of our licensors.
Third-party links
Where we link to the ATO, software vendors or other third parties, we do so because the link is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Availability and liability
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the general information published here.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability under such a guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited, at our election, to supplying the relevant services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything we have done, contact us using the details below and we will try to put it right. Complaints about BAS services provided by a registered agent can also be made to the Tax Practitioners Board.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies, and the revision date above shows when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute about them is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
